| Project Description:
My Website based on PHP and a Database System should be able to create and recall information about a customer of a company. It has different users within the company that can create and modify data. The goal is, that the company can easily access data about their customers, for example the time of the last phone call, notes made during the phone calls, the customers address and so on. It also includes a feature to write messages to different users of the company. The main topic of this project should rather cover the proper programming than the design of the website. Below a Table of content that is structured in two parts. The first one covers the points that definitely need to be done, the second the additional features which are a nice to have but not 100 percentage essential, also can be left out if unrealistic or too complex. Essential Points Create and recall data about the customer. First name, last name, address, country of residence etc. Create and recall the time and notes of a phone call with a customer Create and recall a picture of a customer All data and notes of a customer should be easily accessible on the websites Additional features There are Administrators that can access and edit all data. The normal employee can only access the data of the customer that he created himself, unless permission is given from admin. The third group, viewers, cannot create or edit data, but only view data that they are given access to. Users can send emails to multiple users, data base should already allow that feature. Possibility to recall data about family members that are customers as well and a possibly to quickly access their data on the profile of the original customer. A possibility to send an email directly from within the website. Possibility to show the Address of the customer on a map within the website, and if possible automatically calculate the time needed to drive there. A way to directly upload a picture through a URL Link or through a social network Secure Access to data Other features that are easy to do and would be an asset to my project It is very important to clearly document all the programs in PHP and JavaScript within the program code!! Please feel free to ask my about any further details, if needed. The Database was created with MyPHP Workbench and also is attached and the existing file can also be transmitted if needed. |
