| Project Description:
This is a very simple iphone app for someone who knows what they are doing. Overview: We require an iphone app to be developed that looks and works almost the same as Apples existing iPod player, however we simply want to add a few additional functions that allow the user to increase/decrease the speed of playback. (from 0.5 to 5x the speed). We already have a PC based software capable of this and we're looking to bring this to the iphone. We can provide a copy of this software upon request. (written in C#) However we expect the iphone app to be developed from scratch using only Apple's approved API's through the SDK. We've already done all the research and know of several apps available that contain every feature we require. To see a very basic example of what we are looking for you can view the following app: http://cl.ly/9149f65a27feab896369 Technical Requirements: * App must work with the latest iOS 4 as well as have complete backwards compatibility with iPhone OS 3.x and should also run on all iPhone hardware (including the original iphone if possible.) * Full source/project code must be delivered so we can submit the app directly to Apple through our developer account. Additional Requirements: * Supplier must initiate communication and follow timeline development, milestones, and testing standards. * Developer must possess and ensure a high standard of QA and testing processes on mobile application development. Expecting that we (the client) will provide error feedback and track bug fixes is not acceptable. * We require a fixed bid to develop the application and an hourly rate for any enhancements after the app is successfully launched on the iTunes App Store. However, we assume that after delivery, bugs will be fixed at no additional cost. * Fluent written and spoken English. Must be available for both Skype and IM Chat during US Business hours (9am to 6pm PST.) Direct phone communication is a plus. * Timeframe for delivery: Start ASAP with a scheduled completion date within 2-3 weeks. (this does NOT include our Apple submissions process.) * We are a web based software development company, however because this is our first app, we may require some guidance and assistance in getting the app listed in iTunes and pushed through the app approval process. Benefits: * This project is intentionally priced low because we wish to start the application and launch V1.x with only the most basic of core functions, however we also have over thirty new features planned for future updates through V3.x which means there will be plenty of on-going work once we begin to gain feedback from the community. * We have further projects scheduled for production this year, including creating an iPad version and porting our existing PC software to Mac OS X. Next Steps: To gauge your level of experience correctly, we must be able to see and use iPhone application project work completed by you. Our team provides detailed mockups and project outlines with excellent standards in UI and expect the development suppliers on our projects to work at this same standard.
